Kyle learned a new trick

Kyle has a friend whose dad rides a unicycle. In fact, maybe the whole family rides unicycles, I'm not sure . . . Anyway, Kyle came home the other day riding a unicycle. It looks like it takes a whole lot more work than a regular bike. I think I'll stick to the 2 or 3 wheel kind. LOL.
I think in this picture he looks like a marionette
Go, Kyle, Go!!!

Kyle, James, and Elle. Kyle and James are creating thier own childhood memories. Someday I'll have to tell you about the stapler and the jello.

Good News, No, Great News!!!

Today I received Chad's return travel itinerary. WooHooooo!!! Chad flies from Kiev to John F Kennedy Airport on August 18th. Then he flies from NY to home arriving at 7:50pm. I can hardly believe it. He's really coming home.

There goes that Revolving Door again

Just an update on our home. Tyler has moved back from Washington. Although he loved it there, he just could not find full time employment. After a few months Tyler thought perhaps the best choice would be for him to move home and try school again.

Don't you love it when your kids figure things out for themselves, LOL. Hey, as long as he does, it's okay with me.

. . . And More

Another bright (snow bright) beautiful morning.

Wednesday, April 15, 2009

So this is April . . .

I left this morning and it was a rainy spring day, green grass, daffodils and tulips. I come home and it's winter again, yuck!!!!! And now, just 10 minutes after I took these pictures, it's snowing those huge big fluffy looking snowflakes, yuck and more yuck!!! Katy thinks I'm a little dramatic, but really the snow has got to go!!

New Pictures from a Sister Missionary

I knew FB could be a good thing. It's all in how you use it. Well, I used it to find new pictures of Chad taken by one of the sister missionaries in his area. I'm so clever.

Uncle Kyle

These two little boys absolutely love their Uncle Kyle. They just love to climb, pull, tug, and bounce on Kyle. Kyle is very good with them too. This morning we could hear Cade crying. Kyle said, "I'll go get him," and he did. Cade cuddled up with him, then cried when he had to leave for school.
Tugging . . .
Climbing . . .
Loving life . . .
Peeking . . .
More, more . . .

A Boy and His Train

Brayden loves trains. He loves cars, trucks, planes, and as mentioned trains. Brayden has loved anything with wheels before he was walking.
He can play with the tracks or without. Of course if the tracks are out, then you have to watch out for Babyzilla.

Cake Batter Cade

Do you remember those days. . . a beater full of batter??
Cade was not bashful about getting to that chocolate.
He looks like a little brown bear, ha ha.

Dogpile on Kyle

The boys had so much fun climbing up on Kyle. Brayden didn't need any help. He got the hang of "dogpile" real fast.
Cade needed a little help getting up on top, but he also caught on real quick to the idea.
Kyle never did wear out playing with the two little ones. Instead, he started rolling the babies up like little baby tauquitos. Cade didn't like this game as much as the first, but look at that little face.
Kyle wrapped Brayden up, and ta-da . . . Brayden turned into Super Stretch. We did try rolling Brayden up like a tauquito, then unrolling him. The problem . . . Brayden unrolled so fast that it scared him and we didn't get any photos, darn!!
Even Gma got in on the fun playing with the boys. We had such a fun time.
